Project Overview
On a more personal level, my loving wife was looking to create a place to showcase her wonderful culinary talents.
The spectacled bear is the only species of bear living in the souther hemisphere of the americas. A contrasting geographical position considering all of its "siblings" decided to stay up north, as if one day it just decided to pack and search a more tropical place to live.
It's a wink on the gourmand personality of the bear (her spirit animal) and the exploration of far away lands and their endemic flavours through a critic but always open-minded lens. L'ours à Lunettes uses its vision to see far away culinary possibilities and satisfy her sharp sense of taste through her fun, always delicious and decadent kitchen experiences.
